SMS Terms of Service

1. Overview

Insight Health AI, Inc. ("Insight Health," "we," "us," or "our") provides SMS text messaging services on behalf of healthcare practices that use our platform. When you opt in to receive text messages through one of our partner healthcare practices, you agree to the following terms.

2. Messaging Program Description

Insight Health facilitates the delivery of SMS and MMS text messages on behalf of healthcare practices for the following purposes:

  • Appointment reminders and scheduling confirmations
  • Care follow-up messages and patient notifications
  • Responses to patient inquiries and customer care
  • Practice updates, including office closures and schedule changes

Messages are sent as part of the clinical and administrative workflow of your healthcare provider's practice. Text messages will not contain Protected Health Information (PHI).

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your appointment schedule and care needs. Typical message volume ranges from 2 to 10 messages per month, though this may vary depending on your interactions with your healthcare provider.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and wireless plan. Insight Health is not responsible for any fees charged by your mobile carrier.

5. Opt-In and Consent

By providing your mobile phone number and giving consent through your healthcare provider's intake process (whether on a paper form, digital patient portal, or website form), you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from Insight Health on behalf of your healthcare provider. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving medical treatment or purchasing any goods or services.

6. Opt-Out

You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message. No further messages will be sent unless you re-subscribe. You may also contact your healthcare provider's office directly to request removal from the messaging program.

7. Help

For help or questions about the messaging program, reply HELP to any message you receive. You may also contact Insight Health at sms-support@insighthealth.ai or your healthcare provider's office directly.

8. Supported Carriers

Major US carriers are supported, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others. Carrier coverage is not guaranteed in all areas.

9. Privacy and Data Sharing

Your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in consent, and related data are collected solely for the purpose of delivering the messaging services described above. We will not share, sell, or distribute your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent data with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy at https://www.insighthealth.ai/privacy.

10. Disclaimer

Insight Health and the participating healthcare practices are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages due to carrier network issues or device incompatibility. Text messages are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. In case of a medical emergency, call 911.
